speech recognition

I am trying to get into speech recognition; can anyone suggest a good place to start, there are so many resources on the web - too may to know what is good?
I will not need to have a very large list of commands to start - maybe only five to ten.
Connecting to a BS2 would be optimal; soon I will also try the SX (when it is off of back order and actually ships tome).
thanks

Sensory http://www.sensoryinc.com·has a new module called a VR Stamp that looks like it would fit the bill.· The VR Stamp itself is·~$50 but the dev kit is ~$500.· Not sure it's released yet.
www.digikey.com carries some of the other sensory speech recognition kits that would fit your requirements.· Search on "sensory".

Agreed.· It's too bad they used stamp in the name.· It's a little misleading or at least not very descriptive.
