What to buy

Hi,

I'm new to this and i'm putting togetter a package for a robot.

Parts
USB Board of Education
BASIC Stamp 2 Module
PING)))™ Ultrasonic Sensor

The USB Board of Education supports only two servos.
Can i use a motor controll like the Parallax Servo Controller (USB) to controll more servos from the USB Board of Education?

Also, what servo would be best to rotate a sensor and what is the difference between the three types of servos i found on this site?

Thx

All of our BOEs have four servo ports, and yes, you can connect a PSC to the BOE and control up to 16 servos. To rotate a sensor you'll want to use a "standard" servo, as these are designed to rotate back-and-forth.

Be sure to download our "What's A Microcontroller?" and "Robotics" text books -- lots of great code to get you started.
