Using a USB Webcam Remotely

I am curious to find out if anyone would have information on using a USB Webcam remotely on a robotic platform.
Similar to the RoboEye wireless vision I would like to have a USB emitter board to sit on the robot and a reciever to hook up to the computer.
Has anyone experimented with this? If so I would like to know what you came ip with.
Thanks

well .. the USB cable has four wires dataInput + Dataoutput + 5v + GND

if you use two 433.92 MHz Transceiver (SIP/solid/raw) on both sides of the USB it may work·or you might only need one SIP/Solid Antenna Receiver· ·and one SIP/Solid Antenna Transmitter·but how would you decide ?

first, find a camera that you can use as a test pit

second, cut the wire that transmit data from PC to camera and see if·both devices will work

if it does then use the second choice of the two receiver, transmitter devices

you can not cut the wire that transmit data from the camera to PC because the·Camera has a small·HID microcontroller that need verification every time you plug the device·
