Is this possible!?

Hello everyone!

I'm doing a work at the university with an HexCrawler using the Basic Stamp 2e module.

What I wanted to know, and I'm needing·major·help here, is to know that if I change from the BS2e·to a·BS2px, could I add to the robot Parallax's "RoboEye Wireless Vision System"?

Any kind of help is welcome here!!

Thanks in advance... smile.gif

I'm just guessing....but isn't it still just rs232 and ttl lines between the stamp and the wireless camera?
Both stamp modules have rs232 and ttl lines available....the 'e' module has more ram space....

What do you mean by "add to"?

I am working on a hexcrawler with the BS2e module and I wanted to know if it is possible to·place·a "RoboEye Wireless Vision System" in the robot, so I can be able to watch the captured video in the computer...

    Hello,

·· It would be possible...But there are two things to consider.· One is that the RoboEye is no longer carried by Parallax.· It is discontinued.· But even so, the RoboEye is a slow-scan image and the movement of the HexCrawler would make it difficult to get usable images.· You would have to stop.

·· I would recommend getting a 2.4 GHz wireless camera and a receiver and going that route.· You would need a small monitor/TV to view the images on, unless your computer has a TV Card.
