Data logger with ability to send to a remote location

I'm working on a project using a bs2.· I want to log the temperature and send this to a pc.· I don't know whether to use an eb500 (embedded bluetooth technology) or eb600 or do I need both and if so will I need two basic stamps? Also the functionality of the temperature sensor is not clear to me. Or should a RFtransceiver be the better approach. Constraints is that the budget is at $100.· Need help distinguishing to get on track. Help is appreciated.

    Hello,

    ·· You will need two EB500 modules to send data from one to the other.· But if the receiving end is a PC, you would also need the EB600 to plug the EB500 into on the PC side.

    curious, why would you use bluetooth ?

    is this a hand held unit ?
