Is it possible with pbasic stamps to do freelance work, or sell your products?? Also, are stamps just another name for microcontroller?

The Basic Stamp is a microcontroller. Parallax programs it with their proprietary code which allows you to write a program in PBasic ( MUCH Much simpler than the normally required Assembly programming) using·a free program.

Sure. Before my employment with Parallax I designed a couple products for other people (and was paid for it) that used BASIC Stamps. You can also design with our EOM components (also did that for the employer just before Parallax) to keep the construction cost of the product low, while still getting the simplicity and strength of PBASIC.

BASIC Stamp(R) is a registered trademark of Parallax, Inc. Unfortunately, a lot of people (incorrectly) use "Stamp" to refer to small microcontrollers -- only Parallax makes genuine BASIC Stamp and Javelin Stamp microcontrollers.
