Using BASIC Stamp to help disabled people?

Is it possible to use BASIC Stamp to help disabled people? For example, a robot that gets something and brings it to the person. A person may not use hands so there should be some way of controlling the robot.

Why not? It's simply a matter of design and programming -- BASIC Stamps are used in robotics every day.
