even though I had logged in.
Does this explain the zero count for viewing?

C'mon - don't be picky about this darn image link being functional or not - Ken's announcement is worth for being treated more seriously than that. He clearly pointed out what Parallax has commited to do again for disaster victims. I can only support this generous attitude!
I'm sorry to say that: I'm feeling really p....d off by posts like yours, should this be the only answer you have for such an important, and well-meant initial post.
Go ahead, send Parallax a huge order on Wednesday - this is what really supports the victims!
Let me repeat this again fo all other "lurkers":
Go ahead, and send Parallax a huge order on Wednesday - this what really supports the victims! Try to top the $5,000 limit - I'm pretty sure - should you make it - Parallax will not be stuck to it.

Greetings from Germany,
G
I live 50miles south of New Orleans my family evacuated to Dallas and we're fine. there are 1500 evacuee's in the local college's gym where a close friend of mine has been working since last saturday. the people there finally got cots to sleep on via the US Army over the weekend; until then they were sleeping on the floor. this weekend was also the first time they were able to shower. many locals have been cooking tasty meals around the clock for them and donations of clothing and hygene needs keep comming in. the thing they need most of now is a taste of normalcy. fema has acquired all available rental properties for miles and the kids are signing up for local schools. hopefully our town will be able to offer some peace to our displaced neighbors.
my buds and i used to visit new orleans often; actually we were their the friday night before the storm. i dont know how the city will every be the same. most of the population will settle elsewhere, and the businesses are already beginning to relocate to surrounding areas. the lastest time tables state that the pumps will have the city drained in 3 months, another 3 months are needed to demolish the severly damaged area's, and another 6 months to rebuild. hopefully engineers will turn this disaster into an oppertunity to elevate the city's low lying areas and upgrade the city's levee and pump systems.
i've been meaning to buy a robot kit, tomorrow will be a great day to start a hobby in robotics.
thanks parallax
