BS2PX Pin Assignments

I have a BS2PX mounted on the BS2P24/40 Demo Board. I have had no trouble getting the thing to work with the magnetic compass or the dual axis accelerometer sensors. However, I have had to modify the hook up instructions and demo software to use only pins 0-7. For some reason hooking up to pins 8-15 does not work.

In addition, I am attempting to use the FPU V2 integrated circuit. The instructions call out hooking up the circuit to pins 14 and 15. I have verified, reverified, and re-reverified my wiring. I can NOT get the software to recognize the FPU with this setup. I have verified the FPU is working correctly by hooking it to a BS2 another demo board that I have. I am wondering if this too is a pin configuration problem.

Any suggestions?
