Using DS1620 instead of AD592 ( humidity proof ? ) and a BS2

Hi,

I need to use the DS1620 but I have a lot of humidity.
( it is inside a refrigerator)

I think that the AD592 could work but I prefer the DS1620
but I need to add something (I don't know what),
perhaps a little box or painting the DS1620, or
using thermo retractile like the AD592.

But, may alter measurements capacity of the DS1620.

Any idea ?

Thanks, Joe

After you've soldered your wires to the DS1620, you may want to give it a coat of nail polish or varnish. I don't think a thin (water proofing) coat will affect performance.

Or the stuff called "tool handle dip". Be sure to include a bypass capacitor right next to the DS1620 (and try it out before you dip it!)

    Thanks.

I think that covering with thermo rectractile film like the AD592 could work
    fine.

It is necesary to add a capacitor near the chip ?

    Thanks, Joe
