Another project feasability check.

Hey everyone. I was looking around the enviroment I live in over here, and I realized that my AO is mostly pitch dark all the time. Kind of makes it hard to see my bot. I have tank treads on Hanz, my bot, whiskers mounted low on the chasis (right underneath the risers, actually), and the IR detector circuit.
I was going to throw a few LEDs on the board, and have them act as wingtip lights, green and red, so I can see what he is doing. The revalation was this: Why don't I just buy some high-intensity LEDs, and use the photoresistors to give Hanz real headlights and eyes? I have already bought the LEDs, and was wondering if anyone else had tried this, and if so, what were your experiences?

·· One thing the High-Intensity LEDs will do very well is lower your battery life.· What color did you get?
