Infared port question

I have a desktop that has a IR transceiver built into the motherboard and I was wondering if I could use it somehow in conjuction with the Basic Stamp Editor software to upload new programs to my BS2 wirelessly. I this is possible I would need to know what additional software and/or hardware would be required.Please note that I have never used this or any IR port before and I have no idea how to use it I just know I have it and want to use it.

Not at this time, please check our website www.parallax.com in a few months for more information regarding the IR programming.· However, If you go to www.flexipanel.com·they have a product called the "ToothPIC" that will enable you to use Bluetooth to program the stamp wirelessly.· I've used the "D-Link" Bluetooth module on my PC·to program the stamp using the ToothPIC from Flexipanel and it works great.
