nEED TO MONITOR 3 VOLTAGES with the ADC0834?

ok i grasp the use of the ADC0832 but i need more inputs.· How do i wire the chip and what is used and not used.

1. V+······· 14. Vcc
2. CS······· 13. D1
3. Ch0······ 12. CLK
4. Ch1······ 11. SARS
5. Ch2······ 10.·D0
6. Ch3······ 9.·· Vref
7. DGND···· 8.·· AGND

Connecting to the ADC0834 shouldn't be any harder than connecting to the ADC0832 -- give the attached example a try.

Note: I've posted the file with an added .TXT extension to allow online viewing.· When downloading, remove the .TXT extension so that it's easy to open in the BASIC Stamp IDE.

I haven't read the data sheet for your part, but yes, with the ADC0838, you can tie them together.

To be safe, put a 1k resistor between the BASIC Stamp and the ADC0834 -- see the ADC0832 schematic in this article:
