The Parallax oscilloscope can measure 20v peak to peak.· We are working on a new version that will be able to measure the 24v in the near future.

Sorry about that.· The 10x probes are not available yet and·maybe available·if we come out with·a new oscilloscope.· There is no set date on when that will happen.·· As of now the 10x probes are not supported with our current oscilloscope.

Interesting news about the possibility of a new Parallax oscilloscope. What kind of updates/changes could one potentially expect to see? I was thinking about getting one of the current ones, but would be interested to know if waiting for a new model would be worth it.

    Thanks!

The new model will most likely be in a different price range.· We do not have any specifics as of yet, please feel free to add your comments.

What sort of price range are we talking about? I guess that sort of dictates the potential features, eh? I'm sure there have been ideas tossed around. We won't hold you to anything.. Promise. :)

Just curious as to what the thinking might be for the next gen...

My suggestion is for an oscilloscope that can measure 24v, we'll see what happens.· The price range I'm not sure about due to the fact of the necessary components that will be needed for the different features.

Allowing it to measure up to 24V instead of 20V is not the question - you can be sure, sooner or later, someone will want to measure a 25V signal.

I would like to see BNC connectors for the inputs. This would allow to attach standard probes with an optional 1:10 or 1:100 attenuation. A "de-luxe" version would come with built in attenuators (either selectable with a rotary switch, or - even better - by software) - yes, I know, I'm dreaming smile.gif .
