We have posted the July 2006 Nuts and Volts of BASIC Stamps column Getting Hot, Hot, Hot·in PDF along with associated BASIC Stamp code examples. This application uses the DS1620 Digital Thermometer in conjunction with the Micromega Corporation·uM-FPU V2.0 Floating Point Coprocessor and·their code development tool. Micromega's uM-FPU Integrated Development Environment (IDE) creates the BASIC Stamp, Javelin and SX/B code necessary to interface with their floating point coprocessor. This chip has proven to have an abnormally high amount of support from the designer, Cam.
