Gray Scalle optical encoder

I am looking for some code that will allow the basic stamp II to interface with a gray scale encoder, such as a Mouser part number, "652-ENA1J-B28-L00128", found at:http://www.bourns.com/pdfs/ENC1J.pdf.
Thanks,

·· We do have some code for reading rotary/optical encoders.· Please see the attachments.· I will provide a schematic in an hour.· If you have any questions on the code, let me know.
EDIT:· Okay, there's the schematic for the standard mechanical encoders we have at Parallax.· I have also used the optical devices in a few designs.· These actually use a phototransistor and are still wired the same way.· The Grayhill model I have has a pushbutton in it, making it ideal for a single knob input device.
