Basic Stamp Logic Analyzer

When I click Acquire the data is collected but it always stops with a pop up window indicating a pod connection problem.
I assume this indicates an issue with the usb 2 port but I ask just in case this is how it is suppose to work.
The usb 2 port is a pcmcia card in a Dell Inspirion 8000.
It works fine for other things Lexor Jump Drive and Adaptec video capture.
Thanks

·· Do you have another computer to try this device on?· This would help determine if it's some sort of issue with your PCMCIA USB port.

Yes it works fine using my Desktop Computer. After moving everything out of the way and getting at the back of it to connect Ha.
The PCMCIA card is an Adaptec USB2connect and I looked for a new driver. I downloaded their latest which was Dec 2002 and when I
tried to do an update of the driver XP said what I had was the same.
By the way my problem I had last night in another post of the serial port holding the Stamp in reset unless I had a debug statement I solved
by using the usb connection on my PDB. It works fine connected to the same PCMCIA port the logic analyzer was connected to. I plugged the
LA into the other usb port on the card and got the same results. It always ends with Pod to Pc connection problem and a message about data
stopped or something like that. Now that I am on this PC I cannot see it and forget the exact words.
Thanks for your help
Debating to go to CompUSA and get another PCMCIA usb2
Tom
·· At least it pinpoints the problem down to the computer itself.

Do you need USB2?
PCMCIA to USB sounds like black magic at best.
