    GPIB -- is this also known as IEEE-488? In other words, an HP created parallel bus?

    If so, I'm not sure the BS2 has enough pins for it...

    The Stamp platform doesn't support GPIB directly, but by using using a GPIB to serial converter, as might be found here: http://www.icselect.com/ you might be able to utilize the Stamp via that method. Here are the actual GPIB to serial interface cards:

    The idea is to built a GPIB Interface Controller with the Basic Stamp itself?
