Voltage regulator on SCB

Hi, I have the Super Carrier Board and a BS21C.
I want to pull 5V off the SCB's voltage regulator to power a MAX7219 LED driver.

I see VSS and VDD. Are these the regulated voltages?
Do I need to hook anything up to the ISET, CLK, or LOAD pins of the MAX7219?
Could you explain wave-particle duality to me in terms of the Grand Unified Theory of Everything?

    Vdd is regulated 5v.
    Vss is ground.
CLK and LOAD, yes (to Stamp); ISET through a 10K resistor to Vdd (see attached document).

    Hi Jon!
Thanks for helping, I guess ISET must be "I" as in "current" set.

You said I should link the LOAD and CLK to the stamp.
From reading the documentation that you linked me to it seems that LOAD and CLK are both registering on the rising edge of a sinusoidal (square?) wave function; presumably this is the BS2's clock cycle.
I am staring at the board and the only thing that seems reasonable is the ATN pin.
Is this where I should connect CLK and LOAD?

I am using a 2-segment display that has 18 pins:
2 for common cathodes of each digit.
14 for 7 for segments of each digit.
2 for "dots" of each digit.

I have examined the MAX7219 documentation, but am still unclear as to whether the (A-G,DP) pins on the display driver have to be wired to each segment of each digit, or only to the segments of the zeroth digit.

As to wave-particle duality: if I ever claim to understand it you should feel free call the "nice young men in their clean white coats".

    Hello,

·· Perhaps you should see the following link.· There is an experiment in there using the MAX7219.· It includes a schematic and code.· If you have any trouble with that, please see the second link.
