hi

if u have time?.........
········· 8 inputs using hc151·circuit and stamp b24
in tandem with······· 8 outputs· with164 and 364
press 1st switch as an input...........·· led as output·· blinks· using a pause command· as per· code 5.8···· everythng is fine·· but............... 2nd switch does not respond instantly like 1st sw········· slowed pause command and 2nd sw will only work when led is at lagging edge of it's cycle on.·· so in other words only when the led from the 1st output goes off can the 2nd sw react which leads to a random "hit" when used in a game configuration.
what is the best solution to fixing this problem?·· tried button·command ·but not sure if doin it right.· would like to fix with software if possible.·· schmitt? for hrdware fix?· help.
thanks

It would be very helpful to have a schematic and your code to look at.·

If you don't have a schematic editor, got to·ExpressPCB and download their software.· It has a simple (yet nice) schematic editor that allows you to export the schematic as a bitmap.· But ... do everyone a favor and crop the output (use your favorite paint program) so that it's just the schematic and not the entire page.

And if you have the means, convert your bmp to a jpeg or some other format that makes the file size smaller.

Those without high speed connections will be greatful.
