I just picked a Hitachi LMG6272XNFR 640x200 LCD display up at a local electronics shop for $10.· I've looked all over the internet for the data sheet, so I figured I'd try here.· So... does anyone have the data sheet or could point me in the right direction.· I'm itching to try this thing out... even though the stamp doesn't have enough memory to do anything useful with the display I figured I could use a stamp or an sx to at least test it out once I find the data sheet.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Chris

Try this link, it has the pinouts for your display, and how it is interfaced......

·· And don't rule out the Stamp as not being too useful on the graphics LCD Displays...I saw a circuit online once where a guy had an external EEPROM that stored all this screen image data for grfx and menus and pulled them from there and placed them one the screen.· The same could be done using any BASIC Stamp with multiple slots, storing the data into the unused slots.

Hmm, I'll have to try that trick with the stamp.

As for the link Robert posted, yah I found that one as well, but I still need to dig up the command structure for the display.· Though I suppose I could look up the model numbers of the controller ICs on the back.

Thanks for the input. I'll keep my eye out for the data sheet.· I sent a note to Hitachi requesting the data sheet this afternoon but I don't think they'll waste their time with sending it to me.
