downloading from stamp stored data?

i was wondering if i need the original program to download the stored data from a bs2pe from its eeprom?

    ·· No, you could write a simple program to do just that.· You don't need the original code, but you do need to know where the data is, and how it's stored.· For example, are there word variables?· Lowbyte, highbyte?· Etc.

    all i know is the data is sent to the stamp in ascii code 1200 baud 8bit non parity

    also when downloaded before it goes threw all the banks
