I'm trying to upload this as an avatar, but it says that I can only upload images. How do I fool it?

Try pressing the "Print Scrn"/"Sys Rq" button at the top of your keyboard.
This effectively "copies" your screen content onto the windows clipboard.
From here, "paste" it into a graphics program where you can edit and save it as an image.
