continuous or standard servo

Greetings again,

I am trying to build my own quad-crawler robot. I was wondering... is it possible to use continuous rotation servos for a quad-crawler or do I need standard servos? I have a number of continuous rotation servos just sitting here in a box and would like to make use of them if I can.

If the robot shown in this picture (below) is what you had in mind, then standard servos will work just fine. Here is a typical quad crawler:

You won't have the control over position based on values for the pulses with the continuous rotation servos...
