Power supply and charging?
Hi!
I have built a fourlegged walking robot. It works with five 1.2VDC AA 2500mAh NiMH batteries (servo controller) and a 6VDC 500mA adapter (BOE).
It has 12 servos and I'm going to add one more servo and a UltraSonic Sensor which is going to consume a lot of power, which it already does.
So I was wondering if it is possible to connect as in the picture with 10 1.2VDC batteries making 6VDC and 5000mAh.
And I want the robot to be able to recharge itself by connecting to the recharger. The charger fits 4 AA NiMH batteries and I was thinking it would charge 4, 4 and then 2 batteries or if it could charge in a different way? Can I have the robot on when I am recharging.
See picture for more information.
