FYI:
While setting up a new PC today I was able to use my Edgeport/4, 4 serial port USB adapter, with a Dell GX280 (XPSP2)·to program my BS2P using version 2.2 of the Basic Stamp editor.
Also works with the Javelin editor.
Thought this might help some one in the future.
