LCD problem

Have I have·two·LCD's a LM016L 2X16 LCD and Milford 2X16 LCD.·Is it·possable either one of these·LCD's·will work with the LCDCMD demo.· I tried the wiring diagram in the Syntax and Ref Manual, but it didn't display anything.· Techo help would be great

    The LCDCMD command requires specific wiring for the LCD:

    LCD 1 to Vss
    LCD 2 to Vdd
    LCD 3 to Vss
    LCD Pin 4 to P3
    LCD Pin 5 to P2
    LCD Pin 6 to P0
    LCD Pin 11 to P4
    LCD Pin 12 to P5
    LCD Pin 13 to P6
    LCD Pin 14 to P7

    See if this works.

    Also, LCDCMD works only with a BS2p or a BS2pe.

    Hi,

    I have been trying for ages to get my hands on a PX, but I haven't been able to get it in to Australia. Can anone tell me when it may be available

    They told me it was something to do with a high EMF level in the chip. So they pressed me to use Assembly langauge instead.

    What? You're saying that your distributor has sent the BS2px to a lab and determined that it has high levels of EMF? We'd *love* to see those test results. Perhaps you should just order direct from us, though I understand shipping can be difficult.

    I do know if he has tested it, just the fact that he doesn't, and will not in the furture. As for direct shipping in australia the shipping cost is to high to even think about getting one unit myself, Sorry John
