conectin to a LCD

how would u guys connect to an LCD with these kind of connectors, i mean like what kind of wire and how would you solder?

3 common methods of attaching an LCD to a board are thru a ribbon cable (either soldered directly to the LCD or thru a .1 inch header) or you can solder a .1 inch header directly to the LCD board and then plug it into a breadboard or socket. The last method involves soldering a 'backpack' board to the 14 pin connector. A backpack board is a parallel to serial interface - which coverts the 14 pin connector into 5 pins.
