Note the ezVID module only works with NTSC systems, not PAL

The SX-Video module (www.sxvm.com) will do 6x16 characters·and/or 12x32 pixels (1/4 character).
What exactly is it that you want to do ?

I'm planning to get an rca socket (plus other [unknown] circuitry)
and connect it to my TV without special part (e.g ezVID because I can't buy from parallax freaked.gif)
but I have no Idea how

Micro

PS the 'only' place I can buy parts from is Dick Smiths NZ (DSE)

Hello,

·· Well there's a problem.· Since the BASIC Stamp cannot generate the signals you're trying to generate.· You could use the SX.· Bean's module uses the SX to do this.

Chris has a good point. If you MUST buy from that one place you can buy the SX-Tech kit (I assume they sell it).
The SX-Video module is "open-source" so the schematic and program can be downloaded from www.sxvm.com.
Just load the program into the SX that comes with the SX-Tech kit, build the·circuit as the schematic shows·and away you go...
Bean.
