tokenizer library for the new BS2px

Hello

Is it planned that the tokenizer libraries support the new BS2px?
As a workaround: Is it possible to compile code with the current tokenizer 1.23 for a previous stamp such as
the BS2p and run the object code on a BS2px (without the new commands of course)?

I don't see why you could not use an earlier tokenizer. The difference will be in the downloader. The key code for the 'px is the letter "x", and I think the program download for the 'px takes place at 19200 baud instead of 9600 baud.

    Hi,

We have plans to release the updated tokenizer library that supports the BS2px near the start of June.· The protocol document will be updated at the same time.

Regarding using the current one (minus new commands):· Yes, that will work because the opcodes are the same.

    Regarding downloading it:·

The BS2px is somewhat unlike any of the other BS2-type modules in that it programs and debugs at 19.2k Baud. Other than that, the protocol is the same as a BS2e or above, but with it's own ID and response code, of course.

The ID is "T" and the response code is "t" for BS2px24 v1.0 and "T" for BS2px40 v1.0. Of course, like the BS2pe, we don't have a 40-pin module we're selling, but we may choose to do so in the future.

Using the existing tokenizer, you should be able to get the download protocol modified and working and then can plug in the pending release of the tokenizer later.
