I need help with an IR line follower and I'm on a tight budget

In NZ IR sensors cost $8.40 (NZD) and IR LED's cost $2.10 (NZD) freaked.gif

please post schemtics to a line follower (I can'y use the Parallax Line Follower because of my budget cry.gif)

    Sorry to be unapreciative but I can't get parallax stuff in the NZ freaked.gif
    I need to build it My self with few IR parts

    The example has full schematics that should be enough to get you going with parts that you can acquire locally. I believe the IR sensor we use (that has the IR diode and IR transistor in one package) is the QRB1114.
