The most recent issue of Nuts and Volts shows the new dev board...when will it be up on the Parallax website?
Just curious...

"Inside each and every one of us is our one, true authentic swing. Something we was born with. Something that's ours and ours alone. Something that can't be learned... something that's got to be remembered."
Yeah, I was figuring it was something like that! :) And of course I plan on ordering one ! :)

If you've got the May issue of Nuts & Volts you can read about it in my column.· It works with all of our micros: BS1-IC, BS2-family, Javelin Stamp, and the SX28.· I use the PDB for developing SX82-based coprocessors (using SX/B) for BASIC Stamps.· The PDB absolutley rocks, and it's about the only tool I use anymore.

You know, I was thinking...there might be a good market for 'kits' that help you take a project designed on a board like the BOE or now this new dev board, and move to a permanent project-
For example, the 2.1mm plug, the 7805 (or what ever v-reg), socket for the uController, etc...along the lines of the carrier boards- or an inexpensive through-hole bare PCB version of the dev boards, like the BOE, etc. Just a thought.

You've got every accessory possible on that board...
Well, with the possible exception of the kitchen sink...
If I didn't already have an experimenter board 3 times the size, I'd jump on this board immediately.
Maybe next year...
If the BS3 is out by then...
(I can always hope, can't I?

·· What are you talking about?· All the chips you mentioned come on the board.· The LM386 is right above the speaker, the MAX232E is right above the lower DB9 connector and the L293D is right to the left of the speaker.· Order one and you'll see...
