ADXL210 accelerometer - How to connect to basic stamp?

I just received 2 sample accelerometer ADXL210JE chips from Analog and was wondering if anyone has any experience interfacing these to the stamp. They are tiny surface mount chips. Checked out the local electronics store and they don't have a surface mount board fine enough for such a small chip. How are these things generally worked into projects?
