What's The Phone Jack For?

Hello,

I have the BS2p-24 with the BS2p-24 board. The board seems to have a phone jack on it. What is that for? Also, what can I do with it? I got it all without instructions. Any help is appreciated.

It can be used to connect a Maxim/Dallas "Blue Dot Sensor" to the BASIC Stamp 2p (family) for interfacing with iButton modules.
