DTMF Decoder/Dialer Pleas Help

·i have just constructed the circiut from the parallax website, using the mt8880

··· 1/·but when i run the decoder all i see on the debug is "0000000000000000000012000000000000012000000000000000045000000000' etc without even sending a tone to it, when i do send a tone i still get the same (nothing that i have sent) just random digits displayed

··· 2/ the dialer does nothing (hooked up to amped computer speakers) can't hear a thing

any help greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

i tried the code (8880_DTMF_RCV.BS2) from the sandbox forum, but get the same result (random digits diplayed without entering a tone

help....is the circuit correct or need a change in a value etc somewhere

the circuit i built is as attached the same circuit as for the 8880_DTMF_RCV.BS2 code
