Printing stopwatch

Hello all
I am looking for the best solution to a problem I have with needing to record up to 16 times with 1/100th of a second accuracy. It is a mass start for all channels and pushbutton stop for each channel. Times can run as high as 1 hour. Each channel must be selectable to stop at anytime either through dedicated switches or scrolling through a menu to stop the desired timer.

What would the best micro be to use, a STAMP or an SX? Temperature would also be an issue as it will be subjected to -40oC to +50oC. I may have to implement a small heater "light bulb" to keep the temp close to 0oC. I would be downloading the information from the micro to an excel spreadsheet.

Thanks, John

SX would be the way to go.

Not sure of the "industrial" spec. I don't think it goes down to -40C, but it is rated to 50C if memory serves me correctly.

The SX/B (free BASIC compiler for the SX -- comes with the SX-Key software)·help file has a timer project in it that you could adapt to your application.
