RoHS compliant SX chips

Hello,
Some of our products currently contains SX chips. As You probably know, we can not sell these in Europe after 2006-07-01 if they have components that don't comply with the RoHS EU Directive (pb free). The latest SX20/28 datasheets states thet there is a SX28AC/SS available as RoHS compliant component. How about the other types, especially the SX52BD/PQ,·the SX28AC/DP and the SX20AC/SS? Are there any plans for these?
Best Regards / Ruben

We have the SX28AC/SS in an ROHS-compliant package. Order SX28AC/SSU from Parallax if you want that package. Shortly we will have the SX48BD in ROHS-compliant, too. It is in the final stages of qualification at Ubicom. No plans for the other devices yet, but that's only because we haven't seen demand for the SX20AC/SS and SX52BD in ROHS. If we see demand, and we understand what quantities the customer needs then we could also get those in ROHS-compliant.
However, most all of the SX demand lies with two packages: SX28AC/SS and SX48. Hope this helps.
Sincerely,

Unfortunately it doesn't help since we use the SX20 and SX52. We will probably need around 1000 (one thousand) SX20·and around 100·(one hundred)·SX52·per year.
I am just about to start a redesign of the product using the SX20 and I don't have a lot of room so I don't know if I can fit the SX28 in there instead. Too bad, since I really like the speed per MHz.
