Dear Sir

I was wondering if you could make available the more advance SX chips on DIP adaptor boards so the hobbyist could use them?

Sincerely,

Edward A. Nowak

There already is such a product, its called the SX52 con carne. It is availible here: http://www.parallax.com/detail.asp?product_id=45207

They will also be coming out with a prototyping board (but not in a DIP package)·within the next few months (for around $10 unpopulated).·I believe they will also be coming out with·the board pre-populated (for extra of course).

We will be releasing our SX48/52 Tech boards shortly -- fully populated at a very low price. This will let you experiment to your heart's desire and save you the trouble of building a regulated power supply.

Well, we're all waiting with baited breath -- and you know how bad baited breath smells.

It's bated, not baited - abbreviated from abated, so think sort of breathless waiting, and it makes more sense :)

Yes, and you would wait with "bated breath" (holding your breath) when you were hunting, so the prey would not hear you breathing. Thus you would only do it when the prey was very near, just before you attack!

Thus, the "we hope this is soon, because we're turning blue out here" aspect of 'bated breath'.

Not that I want to rush Parallax in any way. Make it good guys.
