reccomended wireless cameras?
I am looking for a wireless camera for my latest robot project. At this point, I do not care if it broadcasts via wi-fi or RF or whatever else there may be, but I want several things: I would like a good long range (range>200ft), size doesn't really matter for the robot is a good size, and I want it to be concious of power usage, mabe so I could get a few hours out of it. I would just like some reccomendations from people who have bought and used some of these. There are hundreds of wireless camera ads all over, but a non-biased opinion of resolution, color (not needed, but if it does have color, how is it), and durability, as well as the featured I mentioned up top.
Thanks, Justin

Google some rocketry sites....there are guys that put camera's on their rockets...some are still cameras some are motion.
Is your range "line of site"? If it's not, you might want to invest in a Wi-Fi one....although, maybe not as 'smooth' as other wireless video systems, I like the usability of being able to connect it to a network.

·· I am currently looking into a couple of cameras from http://www.matco.com/·just because they will run on 4.5-12VDC, and I will need them to be able to run from a 7.2VDC battery.· Most cameras require 12V.· Maybe they have something you can use?· There are 3 cameras that have a wide power supply range.

CHECK THIS CAMERA OUT. RUNS ON A 9 V BATTERY AND THEY CLAIM 200 METERS. THNNK THAT WOULD BE 600-700 FEET. CHAN 16 OR 19 UHF.
I AM WORKING TOWARD A ZAGGROS 16" DIA ROBOTIC BASE FOR FRONT WHEEL DRIVE (WITH WRIST ACTION HINGE TO A SECOND UNPOWERED SECTION ON THE REAR) AND A FUTABA 7 CHANNEL R/C 75 MHZ CONTROLLER.

They normally use these in rockets.
