Hey SXers:

You can now buy Andre' LaMothe's XGameStation from Parallax.

It includes an SX-Key, too.

We don't offer it without our SX Tools, but you can buy it solo from Nurve Networks for $199 if you desire.

Holy Cats and Dogs, Batman! That's brilliant.

I looked at this in December, but they had just settled on the SX at the time. I hope they have more code libraries available now -- but who cares, it's a 50 MIPS SX52 with resources.

P.S. Excuse me, an 80 MIPS SX52 (which WILL run SX/B) with resources.

Does SX/B work on the SX52 yet? I head Parallax was working on it.

The XGS is a very neat tool/toy. Now there is alot of sample programs/games on the XGS site. Its starting to get a good following. Its good to see Parallax carrying an XGS package. I've had one since December, just need a little more in my day to get fully involved with it. Its a good SX application.

    Forrest,

The next version of SX/B supports the 48/52, along with many other command improvements. We're pretty close on the release, too. You should see it within a week or two. The guys at Nurve Networks have been developing with the new un-released SX/B for quite some time (60-90 days). That's why you'll see examples of SX/B support in their manual.

We're selling the XGS not for profit, but because it's a neat application of the SX. I'm confident of Nurve's abilities to support the XGS based on their demonstrations at our office and review of their discussion forums. XGS is one of the few SX applications we've seen that really draws on the SX chip's architecture.

Here is a link to the XGS forums:· http://www.xgamestation.com/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi·.
