    I believe the SX28 is a 0.3" wide, 28-pin DIP. The hyperlink now shows a 0.3" wide, 16-pin DIP.

You need the 0.3", 28-pin DIP socket for the SX28.

P.S. ARGHH!· The Picture is that of a 16-pin, narrow DIP.· The Description in the top right is actually what it is.· And the Link does say, at the bottom of the page, that the particular one you've called out is 0.6" wide, which is NOT what you want.

The 112299 has an almost identical page, but says it is 28-pin, 0.3" wide.

    Chris,

Are you using FireFox? The hyperlinked word looks like all the rest of the text on my computer as well. I have attached a partial screenshot to show what it looks like - kind of impossible to know it's a hyperlink...

Allan is correct - the SX28 takes a 28 pin DIP socket, 0.3 inches wide

What was confusing is that the picture did not match the part page (they just use a stock picture to represent an entire 'series' of parts)-

    Thanks for the responses.
