so while in the shower i was thinking up ideas on what to do with some ir leds.
i came up with a concept of having a ir emitting led base station from my homework board and my tabsumobot as the radar equipt bot.
the radar would consist of an ir rx led attached to a slow rpm motor with say a soda cap that has a 5th removed from the side. pretty much the cap shields the sensor from all ir except where the opening is. if the location of the slit isknown along with the heading and magnitude of the ir pulses couldn't this work to assist navigation to the base station. the math and programming skills will be lacking on my end. this is all a random idea in my head that sounded feasible. let me know what you guys think.
