I want to replace a standard potentiometer with·a digital potentiometer and·use PWM 0-5v or serial but not sure how these two options may work work with the digital potentiometer.

Can anyone help and explain how this may work!
Thanks,

One of the great (underutilized) resources available for BASIC Stamp users is our library of Nuts & Volts columns.· They're available on our web site as PDF files.· There's an older article that should get you going:

    We need more information here....

What is the resistance value of the potentiometer you want to replace?
What voltage requirements are you looking at with your current potentiometer?

"...PWM 0-5v or serial..." to do what? to set the value of the digital potentiometer?

Would you know what the serial bytes would be for the DS1267 if i was programming in visual basic and how would i go about using 2 of these?

    Thanks,

Nope, you'll have to read the article and download the docs for the DS1267 -- I've never used it myself.
