ok so i understand that the basic stamp can pick up dc signals from 0 to 5v dc. my question is how would i obtain a signal from five of these http://www.dakotadigital.com/Detail.cfm/-/Category=105/PartNumber=SEN-03-5/product.htm[url] and display them onto an lcd? if you have an easy solution, email me at Pheuker@bgnet.bgsu.edu
-also, if you know of cheaper sensors, please inform me.
(this is for an air ride system by the way. i am planning to be able to display and raise/ lower pressures in each cylinder by defined intervals...replacing the 1000 dollar systems)

Hmmm, that link does tell me anything about the sensor...
Does it change resistance with pressure ? If so what is the resistance range ?
What kind of accuracy do you need ? Over what range ?
If you had a link to a datasheet that would help alot.

Do you have a datasheet? Looking at the link seems to be horrible as far as trying to find any specific information.

    That said....

Most sensors of this type are designed to be a resistive element in a wheatstone bridge.

....Bean, you beat me to it tongue.gif

I have some resistance and pressure values.

    150ohm 100ohm 75ohm 50ohm 20ohm
    112psi 68psi 48psi 28psi 7psi

    I hope this helps

o and in addition, i need about a 125 psi in each cylinder and 200ish from the tank... have not decided which pressure switch to buy yet so maybe as much as 250
