Hi all,
Newby here. I am hoping to find information about controlling a Gecko 320 servo drive with an SX. The drive just needs step and direction commands,·the same as those used with steppers,·which would be supplied by the SX. No Gcode would be involved. Only need the SX and assembly code to transfer key pad commands. (Well, I'd like for the SX to register location on an LCD using info from a rotary encoder hooked up to the ball screw too, but first things first). These are machine tool servos, rated at 90 oz. in. per amp torque, with a high speed of 3000 RPM. Just one axis.
Thank you for your time,
Doug
