BS1 Programming Question

Ok I have a question about the BS1.
I currently have a BOE and I'm looking at getting a BS1 for a project im working on, cost is a issue on this project.

Can I use the BOE to supply power to the BS1 and use the BS1 Serial adapter to program it?

    If you get the BS1 Project Board you don't need the BS1 Serial Adapter -- it's built right in. As for power, whatever you're using on your BOE will work with the BS1PB; the power inputs are the same (2.1 mm barrel and 9v clips).
