I've been working on a project for some time now, and above all, power distribution has been the biggest pain in the a**. I need to drive two servos, along with a few sensors and a serial transceiver. I quicky learned that the regulator on the demo board was not beefy ebough to handle that much current draw, so I built a small external boared with another regulator on it. To make a long story short, I'm up to three external regulators now, and a very crowded circuit board. Something has gone wrong with the two new regulators and I cannot get them to work. My question is this: is there an easier way to handle this? Is there some dongle I can buy to step down 7.2 volts to 5 volts at up to three amps? This is driving me crazy.
