Basic stamp to capture images

Hi
I am new to Basic stamp and wanted to know if it is possible to use basic stamp and some ordinary web cam to capture images and process them?
If so kindkly let me know the details to do so.

    ·· Image processing is not an easy thing to do with a microcontroller unless it has specialized commands for doing that sort of thing, such as certain DSP chips.· Usually you will require much more power to handle graphics and video.
