Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) and the Stamp

Does anyone have experience with TDR, and any ideas about using a BS2 to perform simple TDR testing?· My specific application would be to look for a kink in a cable buried within an unstable earth mass (landslide, etc.) to detect movement.· Any ideas are welcomed.

    wouldn't the stamp be a bit slow for tdr.

    I would think think maybe a 100 mhz scope.

    Will pass on to friend of mine, wa4aos and get his input. I am sure he has used it personally.
