temp cintrol and led 7 seg display using a max7219

ok, i am trying to use a max7219 in conjuction with the stamp to digitaly display two/three 7 segment displays. The digital display is going to be acctual temp using an LM34 or LM335. With the LM34 i need ADC to convert. I can use the adc with the stamp and LM34 to diplay temp on stamp plot lite but i can't figure out how to read it on a led display. if anyone has any pointers let me know.
